NetSAP-DC is a non-profit, non-partisan, volunteer-based 501(c)(3)
organization committed to identifying and celebrating the diversity of
South Asians in America by promoting professional development;
encouraging community service activities; raising awareness of the
South Asian culture; and providing forums for the discussion of
important societal issues. As one of the largest local and national
South Asian organizations, we represent over 5,000 individuals in the
DC metro area with over 400 members.
NetSAP-DC organizes monthly and quarterly
flagship events that help further its mission and objectives. These
events and meetings are organized by the Executive Board and Committee
co-Chairs.

Founded in 1995; Incorporated in Washington D.C. in 1997
NetSAP-DC is an affiliate chapter of NetIP North America. NetIP-NA
consists of 23 chapters with over 5,000 members in the United States
and Canada

o 400 paid members on average each year; reaching out to over 5,000 South Asian professionals within the DC metro area
o NetSAP members include recent graduates, young professionals, new residents, and families with and without children.
o All major industries/sectors: Banking, Consulting, Government, Healthcare, Legal, Non-profit, Technology
o Members represent various South Asian countries including India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Maldives
