Wishing you a very happy New Year! On behalf of the 2008 NetSAP DC Executive Board, we would like to introduce ourselves and welcome you to what we hope will be one of the most successful years in the organization's history.

We are excited about leading the DC chapter in 2008 and look forward to providing you with innovative programs and events that appeal and cater to a broader member base. Since its founding in 1995, NetSAP has become the largest and most active South Asian professional organization in the DC metropolitan area.

The organization's past programs and solid membership provide a strong foundation for tremendous growth as NetSAP DC enters its second decade. Our goals for 2008 include:

(1) First, and foremost, being responsive to members
(2) Expanding the core membership through programs catering to a wide range of established professionals
(3) Providing more value to paid members through program discounts, member benefits etc.
(4) Increasing programs related to education, career advancement and professional development – while continuing to promote NetSAP's past successful events
(5) Developing more partnerships with other established professional organizations to strengthen the role of, and promote unity within, the South Asian community in the DC area.

We invite you to join NetSAP DC in 2008. Whether you are a new member or returning for another year, we pledge to provide you with services and programs that will allow you to become part of a vibrant, valuable social and professional network.
