Vision

The Cultural Committee shall be dedicated to creating and providing a forum for young South Asian professionals to participate in cultural offerings of the DC metro region.

The Cultural Committee will provide opportunities to increase awareness of and to promote the diverse and rich South Asian cultural heritage.

Mission

The mission of the Cultural Committee is to:

(1) Involve the NetSAP-DC community in the cultural offerings of the DC metro region, such as performances at the Kennedy Center, tours of the Smithsonian Institutions and special exhibits, musical concerts and other special community events.  

(2) Engage NetSAP-DC members in participating in a diverse range of activities including cultural dances, film festivals, musical concerts, major cultural holidays, cooking classes and other displays of South Asian culture.
