About
the Photography Club
The NetSAP-DC Photography Club is a resource for all NetSAP Members
who are interested in photography, both digital and 35mm / medium form.
All levels of experience are welcome, from amateurs to pros, are welcome;
we can all learn from each other. We use both black-and-white and color
techniques.
What
do we do?
We go on shoots, organize classes, and trade techniques and information
about equipment. We hope to line up a community darkroom for members,
and stage an exhibition consisting of the best of our work at a future
event. We also are the designated photodocumenters of official NetSAP-DC
events.
To
Join the Photography Club
A digital, 35mm, or medium format SLR (Single-Lens Reflex) is highly
recommended to take good quality shots, but is not required. Other recommended
equipment: flash, filters, camera bag, and enough film and flash memory
cards to take you through a shoot!
Please
read the lesson BEFORE the workshop day so that we can just jump right
into it ... and don't forget to bring your SLR camera.
