KAHANI
:   Kahani is a writing workshop for aspiring South Asian fiction writers. If you'd like to hone your writing skills, meet some fun people, or just check out what we're all about, come see what it's all about! There's no cost to attend, and the workshop follows a semi-structured format, geared to help everyone get to know each other, with writing exercises and workshop assignments. Participants who bring pieces to workshop at this or subsequent workshops will be able to showcase their work at an upcoming semi-annual Kahani Night reading. So come join us!

INDIAN COOKING CLASS:   Learn about the basics of Indian cooking and spices!  Please join your ICDC friends for a culinary journey to India. We invite you to an Indian cooking class followed by lunch at one of the most celebrated Indian restaurants in the District. Learn about exotic spices and discover how easy it is to prepare an Indian meal at your own home. We will show you how to make a complete Indian meal including dessert. Following the cooking class, enjoy an Indian lunch with dessert while enjoying the company of other attendees.

 

Tickets and Registration: Tickets include take-home recipes, cooking lesson, and lunch with dessert.
Discounted tickets are $39 for a limited time and $49 afterwards. Please reserve your tickets early, as
capacity is limited. All 4 of our previous Indian cooking classes sold out!

If space is available, tickets at the entrance are $55. All online ticket sales are final!
