1) NATYAM DANCE AUDITIONS |

SPORTS COMMITTEE: Tennis at Pentagon City, August 6, 2006, 4:00 pm
The Sports Committee invites you to an afternoon of tennis on Sunday 08/06/06, at 4pm at the Pentagon City tennis courts. Details are below - if you have any questions, please contact Dhiraj at sports@netsap.org .

LOCATION: Pentagon City Courts: Courts are across from the Costco in Pentagon City. The address for the costco is: 1200 South Fern Street Arlington, Virginia 22202. Once again, the courts are across(diagonally) from the Costco. You will see a soccer field. Pull into the parking lot and you'll see the courts.
WHAT TO BRING: A tennis racket and balls.
COST: FREE for Members and Non-members

(1) NATYAM DANCE AUDITIONS
Natyam is a local dance company based in the Greater Washington area that promotes awareness of South Asian culture and arts through dance. We are currently looking for inspired and talented performers to join us as we unfold our timeless dance creations. TRYOUT DETAILS:
Dates to learn choreographed routine:
Saturday, August 12th 1:30 - 3:30 PM
Wednesday, August 16th 6:00 - 8:00 PM
Thursday, August 17th 6:00 - 8:00 PM
(Please attend all 3 days as you will learn different parts of the dance each day)
AUDITION Date:
Saturday, August 19th 3:00 - 6:00 PM

Herndon Senior Center at Herndon Harbor House, 873 Grace Street, Herndon, VA 20170
The choreographed routine will be taught continuously for three days so your attendance is vital in learning the dance. The routine will be a fusion of dance styles that may include semi-classical, modern, bhangra, garba, and film. This routine will be approximately 3 - 5 minutes long.
In addition to this routine, you will be required to perform a 60-90 second original routine that displays your creativity or specialization in dance. You are open to all types of dance styles and not just the ones we have listed above. We are not only looking for exceptional dancers, but those who project an excitement and embrace the love of dance.
